I noticed that in the UK the speed limit on the motorway goes down from 97 km/h to 80 km/h for no reason at all. narrower road, etc) but the speed limit drops
Any speed on External Contracts cannot go more than 90 km/h. Also please try to close the speed limit(90km/h) from the game files; Just open C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. I'm getting tired of never knowing what the speed limit is of a certain stretch of road, and fearing if I speed up, hello speeding ticket. Is there a better way to know exactly how fast you're supposed to go, without having to find out the hard way? I see this a lot when transfering from two lane roads to highways. Says the speed limit is 40 km/h. Ok. I get that. Yet why are people flying past

. The current options for smart cruise control tolerance seem a bit suboptimal. There are currently four options: disabled, 0 km/h, 5 km/h and 10 km/h. Presuming you set the CC at speed limit the 5 km/h tolerance only starts using retarder at or near the speeding-ticket limit, often letting the speed climb past the tolerance before the retarder starts kicking in. The 10 km/h tolerance is 5 km/h
Euro Truck Simulator 2 No Speed Limit Mod disables the game limits for a while when you install it. It will enable your truck to run at much faster speeds than it would normally be able to reach. You will not know for certain until you try it yourself, but you can get an idea by reading through the logs and seeing how much speed you are reaching.
will the wrong time calculations ever be fixed. going 90 kph, 1 km to destination, 6 minutes to arrive. S-speed, D-distance, T-time. V=D/T, T=D/V, D=V*T. so, if I'm going 90 kph (25 mps) and have 1 km (1000 m) to travel, T(s)=1000/25; T=40(s). it would take 40 seconds to arrive, not 6 minutes. another example is going 140 kph with a travel distance of 175 km, time showing more than 3 hours
Eg. in Germany is max. max for trucks 80 km/h on the motorway, while in France in some places it can be 90 km/h on the motorway, and in England in some places even 97 km/h on the motorway, and in Romania there are even places where you truck must travel 100 km/h. While correct, I have to disagree with the "must".
